Who is Rain Girl? - I am here to tell you!

My name is Jessica Carlson aka Rain Girl.

I am a Fisheries & Wildlife major at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and I have an AAS from Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin as an IT Web Analyst/Programmer.

Some of my favorite hobbies include:
-Reading 
-Anything outdoors (Camping, Fishing, Hiking, etc)
-Gardening
-Canning
-DIY projects
-Anything weather related (Severe weather is the best!)
-Sleep --> Duh! I'm a college student ;)
-Ecology
-Finding positive resources (quotes, books, etc) 
 

 Someday I really want to have a dog again, but for now my pets are amphibians! My boyfriend and I have 3 salamanders, 2 newts, 3 firebelly toads and 1 bullfrog. They may sound boring compared to a dog or a cat, but you would be surprised. Feeding time is my favorite and the most entertaining! ;) 

All in all, I'm just your average college student. I'm passionate about nature and being self-sufficient. I hope you see this reflected in my blog!
